These images have been floating around the 'net for well over a year. They were also recently called photos of a huge storm we had here in the Toronto-area in mid-August.
They are most decidedly not images of Katrina coming in.

It shouldn't take a genius to figure out you can't photograph a hurricane from the ground like this. Hurricanes are waaaaaaaay too big to capture images like these... and unlike tornadoes (which these are) the gale force winds reach out for many miles away from the center.
