Well, I was out a few days ago, at first thinking about some eagle photos with the tele, but then I started thinking about silhouettes and this assignment, so I went here and started waiting, and waiting, and waiting some more, looking at my watch, and waiting, and waiting some more.....then that moment came with the special light and trees in silhouette. 1/20th shutter speed, thank goodness for the VR lens.

Thanks Kaj, I had a version that had a lot more more PS work than this natural one, but I opted for this "natural light" version. Just sharpening, converting from raw, and cropping. Felt good to get a good light catch after a long wait. It didn't seem right to use heavy processing.

Wow, great colors, comp and crop. The trees make a great silhouette and the sun, lake and clouds add the beautiful colors.
