2 questions: Is this mavericks ? b) where you shooting with the 600? meaning if I bring a 400, it will be too far ?

uhhhh....mavericks? that aint mavs.....mavs would be like 3 or 4 times bigger, a lot thicker, a lot darker, not so hollow....right hand break....rocky....further out, shots would either be from boat or cliff.....
deffinately not mavs...

Great shots man! I'm totally jealous. I just spent 3 days in Tahoe shooting the Ozone Snowkiting Tour and we had no wind. I would have had much better luck staying home and shooting the great surf. Hopefully I can get out there later on this week.

Kaikane - OK, I'll post the whole sequence tonight.

Joel - me too, but these guys were so far out and the waves were coming in 10-12 wave sets, I could not get far enough down the beach, see over the waves and get close enough all at the same time. Tough conditions. It woudl have been killer to be out on a ski - maybe next time.
