Although all of the entries showed good potential and the choice was very hard to make, I took several factor into consideration, including image quality, subject matter, relevance to the assignment, and creativity just to name a few.

I am a bit surprised to see Bernie's and Frank R's posts poll so lowly. They were my two favourites in the bunch, both from illustrating the topic, as well as being nice photographically.
