I sent head in to Acratec last month... they asked for it back for overview/review as i wished for the new Quick Release Locking Lever Clamp. Scott replaced the screw plate with the new safety lock lever plate, and at the same time serviced the unit, cleaned and replaced the ball - in perfect working order - unit has a couple of chips from use 375.00 net to me - ship CONUS - I have acratec box - (not original) they sent it back in different box....
i have found this to be a lovely, and useful unit
however when hanging 'heavy' lenses Without a lens collar - difficult to use - so i have moved to a much bigger unit (novoflex magicball) - many thanks
