Actually, it's a great video camera in a DSLR form factor. I sold my Canon 5D Mk3 after I saw the video from this camera. I ended up buying a dedicated video camera, another Sony, because I produce a lot of videos and most DPs don't like working with DSLRs.
It records with a higher bit rate than most other DSLRs, shoots 60 fps at 1080. I also have a dedicated XLR accessory that allows you to input professional line level audio into the camera that's for sale as well.
