I debated on placement (crop) for the gull - more sky seemed top-heavy to me. Need to revisit for a fresh view.

I really like this. I would try just at tad bit more sky to keep the image from being divided in the centre.

To accentuate the minimal, I would clone out the skyline stuff on the right, it gets the eyes attention, and lessens the minimal feel.
