Looks like the shutter needs to be replaced.
P.S. the Canon forum is a better place for this thread, plus it helps a lot to be specific in the title, like "1DII malfunction"...

You have a blade sticking in the shutter. It was hard to tell for sure on the original posts because of cropping.
