While shooting the sunset from Kee Beach on Kauai I changed from my wide angle to the longest lens I had with me , 70-200 + 1.4 TC , and started focusing on some really interesting wave action as they broke right at the foot of the Na Pali cliffs.

That is spectacular, Bob. Would have been very nice without the wave. But, the wave puts it way over the top. Definitely need to hang this one.

I got that same wave, but from closer in by walking up around the bend towards the waves. However your shot with the telephoto really shows the immensity and ruggedness of the Napi coastline. Really captured some beautiful light. Love it...can't wait until May when I'll be spending my evenings on Kee.
