Howdy,

There was a stump in the middle of a pond that was very popular among the Egrets and Herons.

I was lucky enough to capture a landing sequence of this Snowy Egret. The Snowy did not stay long on, because a Great Egret would always chase it away.

Cool set Larry. A tiny fish like that, you'd think it wouldn't bother flying anywhere with it. More energy to fly than you'd get from the fish.

great series larry! its made even better with the fish. really like the angle of the bird as he lands, its a bit different from other snowy photos i have recently seen.
