A terrific set, Birdie... all of them.
I also prefer the red wing image because the pose is so animated. AND because it hints at their lovable, laudable personalities.
Charlie
Thank you very much Charlie. I love hearing them sing and call
RedWinged BB stands out in the set. Nice shot.
Thank you very much.
Nice job on these, especially on the RWBB
Socrate
Much appreciated Socrate, thank you.
Quite a nice set Birdie! RWBB if a beauty, and I like the ibis as well.
Thank you Ken !
the first and last for me Roberta
Thanks so much Kenny !
Great shot for a RWBB. Wonderful setting, action and colour. Is this bokeh done well?!! Don
Thank you Don . Do you like the bokeh? It is the natural setting .
I can see that you will be on these RWBB's in a very good way Birdie, that is a fine one with nice detail. I like the black on greens here.
#2 has a nice suspended feel, nice separation, great exposure, neat!
#3 a nice IF
Karl
Thank you Karl. My nemesis , the RWBB, is back in force. So, just have to keep trying. Finding that the late afternoon light is working better than the morning light
Hi Roberta,
The RWBB may be cropped a bit too much. The other 2 are beauties with the second my pick.
Morris
Thank you Morris. Curious why you feel the RWBB is cropped too much.
Terrific shots Birdie, good job
David
Thank you so very much David
Wow! All three images are SUPERB Birdie. The BGs on the top two are sweet too.
Khai
Thanks for the very kind words Khai
Love the exposure on that RWBB
Thanks so much Paul.
Although I like the RWBB pic a lot, the two other pictures are very good too. I have a difficult time chosing a fav in this terrific set.
Phil.
Phil, thank you so very much. I appreciate your kind words.
Nice shots all.
Every shot I take is practice.........
Larry
Thank you Larry ! Well , me thinks , you have perfected your practice shots
I think all three look really nice. looks like you have a nice diversity to work w/.
Thank you very much. Yes, there is quite a bit of variety which is very nice
Roberta, the blackbird shot is just about as good as it gets, and that includes the whole scene. Here is a little suggestion for alternative shadow processing: if you made its plumage just a shade less grey and a bit more black, you'd get closer to the way I happen to see those birds. Granted, we all see black colours little differently.
The BIF shots are well done, and you are on your way even with obliquely approaching birds which is always more difficult than simple flybys.
