Totally great shots Birdie. I really love your IF shot; sharp, perfect angle but my must pick your RWBB. lovely expose the black feather, red wing on the green perch. Sooo goood.
That is a beautiful RWBB shot, Birdie (maybe a bit of noise in the tail feathers that could be easily cleaned up).
I also practice (and struggle with) IF shots; they're challenging, and benefit tremendously from fast and accurate AF (and AF technique). Depending on your body, it might be worth playing with different servo settings.

A terrific set, Birdie... all of them.
I also prefer the red wing image because the pose is so animated. AND because it hints at their lovable, laudable personalities.

Greg, thank you so much. Yep, the AF system makes a huge difference with the IF shots. I just upgraded my camera and the AF is much better. Just need to get it all down pat to what works best, that will probably take me a life time
I can see that you will be on these RWBB's in a very good way Birdie, that is a fine one with nice detail. I like the black on greens here.
#2 has a nice suspended feel, nice separation, great exposure, neat!
