12 hours? yikes! Nice shot, though!
A few small crits (if you are wanting them...otherwise ignore the next few sentences). You might want to consider gelling your flash in a situation like this. While it is outside, most of your ambient is coming from the lights around the couple which are warm...it might help the shot to not scream flash as much. Also, the spill is a bit much...which might just be something that is a personal preference. One other thing, shots like this with this composition tend to be rather symmetrical (which I like), but you had the couple about 2 feet off of the middle of the street...which would have made the lines a bit more symmetrical. Just my 2 cents

Hey Joel, thanks for the C&C. Yes, 12 hours because we had to cover in 1 day what we planned for 2. The blizzard on Sunday pushed us back to Monday. I had literally 10 seconds to pull this shot off because I stopped traffic and if you know this street, it is insanely busy. I noticed the off center this afternoon when I was editing. Agree that the spill from the flash is a bit much. I was thinking of grabbing the empty road and pulling it down in PS to eliminate the harsh flash.

@Robin, just a simple Nikon SB-900 set behind them on my tripod. @Ckhagen, the valets were having quite the laugh watching us play "Frogger" with the traffic to get that photo

That's his 2nd job. His main job is a data analyst for a foreclosure assistance company. I would say his cost of doing business as a valet on that street is actually weighing the potential of death since one valet was hit and killed a few years ago. Parking cars on the street is very dangerous.

just looked through your blog post of the shoot. You guys literally toured everywhere between boulder and denver. Did the client request that many photos/locations?

Hey James, the client picked all the spots. I live in Atlanta and have never been to Colorado before. It was suppose to be 2 easy days of shooting but the blizzard made it into 1 long day. I didn't mind at all, I had a great time site seeing / taking photos.
