It was a warm windy day at Jones Beach on Sunday and while we did not find the snowy owl, it was stunning out there. Just after taking this photo, large flocks of sandpipers started racing west along the shore. You know have a hint of what is coming next and if you want to see what I captured, you will need to visit the Nature and Wildlife forum in a day or two.

Ps. It has been a while since I posted on the landscape forum and miss all of you and your stunning work. I would not be surprised if the is the longest focal length ever used on this forum.
It's good to see you back posting. This is a pretty cool looking shot, I like the look of the waves here. And yeah, we don't get too many landscape shots with that long of a lens unless someone is shooting the moon.
