I have heard some rumors that this place burned down in 2006, but it was in a photography book I just ordered. Has anyone been there since 2006 and can confirm or deny rumors?

A quick search on the web showed that it has been burned, arson suspected, in 2006.

I was there in 2007 and it was burned to the ground. The folks who built it were at that time reluctant to re-build (and who can blame them?). I was so discouraged to see it that way, I have never gone back.
