Moire is a potential problem, but is it something you'll ever see?
the E does give a sharper image, but is it something you'll ever see?
I think you have to balance those questions, and if they were the same price it might be a little bit of a tough decision, but since it's a $300 difference I feel confident saying it's a pointless expense for wedding photographers. I've shot a few weddings with the non-E and the files are ridiculously good, you don't need anything sharper, especially since wedding photographer is mostly done at large apertures that can't even resolve the difference.
