Great set - it's so nice in the middle of winter to see your macro photos of active bugs.

Phil - it had been feeding on crocus - I tried very hard to get a shot of it on the flower but spooked it- luckily it landed on a nearby camelia bush and allowed me to take some photos.

Thanks Harold for the comment. Have seen a few glimpses of bumble bees- they can be active most of the Winter I gather if the sun is out.
