Bob,

Curious as to why you choose f/32 rather than something in the 5.6 range? Diffraction hurts sharpness of this lens when pushing the smaller f/stops. I never like the edge sharpness beyond 8.0 when I shoot this lens back in the early 90's.

Like the light on the Bishop's Cap.

The first and second images look like they have been downsampled/compressed into oblivion. What is your process for preparing and exporting images for web presentation?

Ouch, something indeed went terrible wrong when you took the pictures.
Not the camera but I'm afraid you need to delve a little deeper in the holy trinity:
- Shutterspeed
- Aperture
- ISO
