I recently traveled to Vandenberg Air Force Base in California for the first time to cover the launch of a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket for SpaceflightNow.com. The rocket was carrying NASA's Landsat Data Continuity Mission. Here are a few of my favorite photos of the launch activities.
