I visited the Wisconsin Capitol building in Madison earlier this week. It was a bit crowded with tours and protesters...so getting photos without people in the frame took far more patience than it usually does!

In the past year, I've photographed the Capitol buildings of North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Michigan and Wisconsin. Next up on my list is Indiana and then Iowa!
Beautiful set and what a great project idea! I was in the state of Washington over the holidays and photographed the interior of the state capitol there. Beautiful building as well. I've never been to my own state capitol in FL but now I feel like I have to!

Great images of a beautiful building. Great project idea. Don't forget Idaho. Not so grand as this but access is very easy.
Thanks! I hope to get to the great Northwest in the next year or so. I would like to get back to Olympic National Park for a photography trip. I would definitely stop by the Idaho capitol building on my there!

Thanks Fred...I've been to Florida quite a few times over the past several years--and have yet to make it to the state capitol there.

Thanks again for looking!
Glenn
Glenn you did the capitol justice! This is my favorite place to take portraits in, but have always thought a whole beautiful book could be made with just the details of the inside.
