Hello,
So the basic question is: If I assign a custom color checker or "not included with LR profile" to an image on computer A, Export the job as a catalog, continue working on the exported catalog on computer B. Does that custom profile need to be copied over to computer B as well for LR to be able to properly profile it?
When I did a test and removed the custom profiles from the Adobe/Camera Raw folder. The image I tested showed ACR 4.4 for a Nikon D3 RAW file as the profile. It did not even default back to Adobe Standard.
Someone told me that when you copy or export a catalog ALL the color information needed goes with it. I thought you needed the profile on the computer in order for programs to know...
Any help appreciated
