This is the south African version of Beef Jerky but much, much better. It can be made from many different game meats as well as beef. I suspect our young friend here did not pick this up at the local 7-11 but in his bush market.

Love biltong! Coriander is not a spice that I use that often but love how it flavors the biltong. I built a biltong dryer a few years ago and use it often.

And it creates an interesting situation- a "leopard conundrum." Since true hunters like leopards never taste spices, there is bound to be confusion. It recognizes that it's meat, but the spices are a new flavor- and since the main purpose for all spices is to keep meat from rotting- they are usually very strong.
I think Ken's comment is perfect- to swallow? or to gag?
