Here's a little collection of some B&W's I put together over the last 6 months or so from here in WA.
Your thoughts are appreciated as always.
Thanks
JBR
1) Glacier Peak - The fires were still in effect so the sky was real hazy. I felt B&W worked best.

2) The stars are over the North Fork Skykomish River. That's the Cascades, more specifically, Mt. Index.

3) Shi Shi Beach - The light was harsh at the time. So, B&W.

4) Colchuck Lake Pano - 7 vertical shots. Blown clouds. Easier to deal with in B&W.

Nice works, John. I particularly like the 2nd and 4th. Nice soft touch with the contrasts, and the misty atmo in the star field is really sweet.

John,
Very nice set. I like #2 and #4 as well. Although i suspect, #1 would make a nice wall hanger.

No. 1 looks like it was a photo of a painting! Good work throughout John.

Hey John,
I really like #2 and 3. Getting the sun star off of a reflection is really sweet.

Barry - Thanks for the nice comments! I'm glad you like them.
Sunny - Thanks for the nice comments! I'm glad you like them.
Douglas - Thanks! The color version of the first also looks painterly.
Jim - Thanks! I wasn't even looking for a reflection starburst. Funny how you're just walking along looking for a comp and BAM!.
I appreciate you looking everyone.

Nice B&W set John! My favorite is #1. The layers in that one is lovely and it has a wonderful water color look to it.
