Happy Chinese New Year to our Chinese friends on FM!
We attended a local celebration last week and I grabbed a few photos. Nothing stunning here photographically, that stage lighting was pretty rough! But it was fun and I felt like sharing a few in honor of the Chinese New Year.
Nice captures, the costumes are very colourful. A very female-heavy performance from the look of it, with the exception of a token male singer in a western-style suitcoat.

I was at the Nelson-Atkins Museum too that night ... arrived just before 7pm an had to park at the Kemper Museum because the garage and surrounding streets were all full. Very enjoyable evening nevertheless!
