Especially like the first shot for its textural detail in the foreground that grabs the eye and the more balanced subtle moody light works nicely with the monochromatic foreground. Did you work the foreground to give this effect? Comparatively, No 4 is quite "epic" in its perspective but lacks the harmony you feel in No 1.

It's so true. DV is such a unique place, full of photography opportunities. I have been there 3 times but feel like I don't even know the place...
