I had a change to edit a few more shots from my last Death Valley trip. I already posted my favorite shots but these ones are also special to me. :-)

#2 and 4 are really cool and are my favorites. Love the detail you got in the salt pans. I might be heading out there again in a couple of weeks, so it's nice to have a little inspiration here.
#1 is pretty spectacular.
#3 is fantastic, I like how the sky above finds anchor to the land below with that strong shadow.

Beautiful layers in these. The first has very interesting colors--almost looks as it the foreground is processed in B&W and blended back into a color image. Beautiful light on the mountains in the second, and the color is a great contrast to the dunes. The alternating light and dark mountains in the third are visually very arresting (although there is a little voice in the back of my mind wishing that the kiss of light on the "dark" mountain had been on the peak). Very effective lighting/exposure on the fourth gives a great color pallate.
A lot of nice images in this set Fred. 1 and 3 are my favorites. I guess since you own this site, we'll let it slide that you posted more than 4 images.
Absolutely awesome! I particularly like the first one due to it's depth and I just really love the lighting, especially on the mountains off in the distance. Nicely done.
