ds211 Are you serious, do you have any idea how much money that team brings into Balto. every year. They helped build Underarmor, the stores, bars, resturaunts and hotels are packed every weekend. The clothing stores make millions off of thm. And where is the cost for that parade, a few Nat Guard vehicles for a day? A little advertising for the NG. Or didn't you notice the signs? These photos are a very good representation of a wonderful event. Job well done pepperman, Ravens and Baltimore.
Andyz, Yes I was on an overpass and it was an extremely grey day! I was very unprepared as I did not plan on shooting this, at 10am I became free and decided to go down, the parade was scheduled for 10:45! I did not have an official press pass so getting in a prime location was a bit tricky also. I guess that I could have lowered the ISO and lowered the f-stop however I was attempting to keep the DOF for the parade shots, I guess that f 5.6 would have been fine but in the midst of it all I just wanted to be sure that I didn't miss anything.
