Nice overview of the area Charlie. I've never been here and didn't realize how close that village is to the springs. It's been on my todo list for way too long.

IMO- Every American should visit Yellowstone at least once in their life.
It's the best place in the world to see a great variety of geothermal activity, although the volcano on the big island of Hawai'i (at night) can be very dramatic.
And Yellowstone also has great wildlife viewing.
