I've never seen officiating effect the outcome of a game as much as this one. Criminal. I'm beginning to think it's all fixed.
The SF last-ditch end zone pass was thrown out of bounds as the replay showed. Pass interference or any other call would have been even more controversial. I think a uncatchable pass also factored into the referee's decision. .......Bad officiating affects all sports. Chalk it up to the human factor.

I agree, even if your comment is not remotely on-topic.
EB-1 just spams random comments to bump her post count,
On topic, 49'ers lost it from the first quater. How they even managed to make a comeback is amazing, that power outage really screwed up the momentum of the game. If the power didn't go out. It would of been a 50-6 blow out.
I'm a 49ers fan who watched the game. I groaned and cheered AND when it was over I went home and let it all go. This is a game folks... no big deal. In fact, despite being a fan for over thirty years, I can no longer tolerate watching games for the simple reason, 2 hours and 15 minutes of commercials and inane promotions is too much to tolerate in exchange for 60 minutes of football. I'll make an exception for the Super Bowl... but only if the 49ers are playing.
Congratulations to the Ravens and a quarterback I too easily dismissed. He was definitely the man yesterday.
As borderlight noted, a pass-interference call on the last play would have been controversial, highly controversial. For there to be pass-interference, a ball must be catchable and an out-of-bounds pass is not catchable.
Well since my team (Dolphins... yeah yeah yeah get your laughs out of the way. Still only undefeated team ever ) didn't make it to the Superbowl, I mainly watch the Superbowl for the commercials. Which haven't been that good lately.

That pretty much describes television in general these days.
Agree and that is why I don't own one. I watch very few network shows online and get most of my entertainment through Netflix. At the moment I'm enjoying some outstanding shows produced in Sweden, Denmark and Great Britain. Between reality crap and formulaic sitcoms and dramas, American television is pretty worthless.
