Hopefully this isn't too many photos! I traveled to Myanmar for two weeks in December with my girlfriend and immediately fell in love with the country. I have been all over the world and this ranks top 3 for me.
I welcome criticism, but the point of this post is just to share my trip with everyone.

Thanks for all the comments - It was a great trip but it was indeed very disheartening to see such a suppressed culture. We were able to talk to some locals about how they felt, and how we felt for them, but for the most part it was difficult to speak openly about those topics.
11 is one of my favorites also! It was a little amusing taking that photo... the train was at full speed when I saw the cart on the other tracks - I cranked my ISO up, got a reasonable shutter speed, and set it to burst at the maximum as we flew by trying to pan as best I could :-)
For these I used a Nikon D4 and a Nikon 16-35/4 or a Nikon 35/2
Stunning photographs, every single one of them. This looks like it should be in a spread in National Geographic! Great quality, all of them. Congratulations and thanks for sharing these.
Was this part of a tour, or did you just go about the area exploring on your own?
