Anyone here know if there are any lens hoods that will work with this lens besides the one made for it? like the hood from the 17-35?

Well, the 18mm/f2.8D uses the same hood, it's the HB-8. But, that doesn't really do you much good.

Fortunately, there is a replacement on ebay. Here is a link:

Thanks for the info. The site is closed till Feb. 21 so I will check again. Much better than the $35.00 that KEH wants for the same thing.
