Hello everyone. I just recently purchase a mamiya 645af from a member here. Popped in my first roll of film, placed the back back on the camera and the film back won't detect the film count. It doesn't even advances the roll with half press of the shutter. Everything else works, shutter fires fine at all speeds. Took the dark slide out and still nothing. I replaced all brand new batteries in the camera and back.All it says on the film back LCD is (--) Could someone direct me in the right direction?
I took it to my local repair store and they said it's the back. So I went ahead and just ordered a used one from adorama.
