thanks but those are not similar to the roller stands in this picture. This roller stand looks to be between 15-20" in max diameter and looks more like a IV stand base.

I'm guessing you didn't actually look at cgardners post then since it was about IV stands. "a modified five-legged IV pole on casters"
Obviously not the specific post you're referring to because the one I saw didn't mention IV stands.

I have about 5 similar stands which stay in the studio.. it might not help you very much but they're really old and made by a UK company called 'Kennet Engineering' which I don't think exists anymore, but they come up for sale occasionally. If you're searching, then 'Kennet' might be an option for you.
They have 3 legs, with an approx. 24" radius leg, steel, pneumatic and rise to about 8 foot. The legs fold up flat against the riser and are fixed by a rotating lock on the base.

Shows legs folded. Found mine at thrift stores for $5 each. Now have two. Google Pitch It Sr. Usually sold in lots of 6 to hospitals for one time use, but I've seen them sold individually for $60.
Your uncle used IV pole with cast iron base for OCF and holding Larson reflector when I worked for him.
Doubt based on your history with gear you'll be happy with it so don't suggest you buy one. It's not perfect. Sections twist lock via friction and top must be modified to cut off and file down iv bag hook. Does not fold any more than pictured.
Stand in your photo does look like chair base. I considered that DIY option before find my IV poles.
