Two beauties Eric. #1 is neat, but if you had gotten any closer your detailed view of those taste buds may have been a bit more intimate than you intended.

Amazing shot, Eric. Love the behavior and the detail of your photos.
I am too chicken to shoot that close.
Thanks so much...but these cats are so used to vehicles that they don't even pay us any attention. You can get close but in fact we often choose not too but allow them to come as close as they want....only once did I see any aggression and that was towards another vehicle...and for no apparent reason....it was just a hiss and growl for a couple of seconds and then poof! back to normal.

How many glasses of Cabernet did you drink while these were being processed
Great shots Eric
Thanks Chad...I was thinking it might be interesting to see how CT sees and processes my photos...might send him a few for that reason only. Otherwise as a get well present maybe I'll load a little hard drive and send it to him to keep him busy. I would love to post my view and his side by side...might be educational (for me!)

It is crazy just how much detail one can pull up and that tongue acts like really rough sand paper to separate meat from bone. And I can assure you that I want to keep a safe distance..I'm not THAT crazy

Glad you liked them Don...I agree, they look great from afar and really in your face...just love it when the light cooperates!
