I just received the GGS screen protector ordered from ebay, and I really like the quality. It comes with 2 rear LCD clip on protectors and 1 top LCD protector, it is only $10 tho.
I use the original GGS, never tried the version III. At least I think it is the original. There are some knock-off out there. Let us know if it works properly. At $10 it not a big deal if you got ripped.
hmm, its hard to tell whether it is know off or not.
I check the Chinese official website, http://www.ggs020.com/en/, it does not explain how to tell the difference between them. Its shipped from US seller tho

I've got the III's on my D800/D700 and they're great. Only downside is an L bracket on an ungripped D800(E)
is a no go with the new clip-on's.
See what I wrote on page 2 post #11 in this thread https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1167257/0 Not sure why I post things to help people out though, because it sure feels like a lot of people on here aren't very friendly on this forum to acknowledge or reply! Oh well...
I have the GGS III on my D800. Tbh there is not a huge difference over the nikon protector, just wish they'd put hardened glass on the non-pro camera screens.
at least is scratch-proof tho. I just trid to use my Stanley Utility Knife to cut the glass, and it had no marks on it.
