...Yep, it does. I have been kind of neglecting it since migrating most of my shooting to a mirrorless format. I still love the files and latitude I can get out of this machine though. Nikon D700, 105mm VR and a few speedlights.


....oh, and some liquid nitrogen.

its interesting, the 700 is still a well reguarded camera nearly 5 years after release. I wonder if the 600 and 800 will enjoy that kind of longevity.

I think that how highly cameras are regarded is dependent on what cameras come after -- in the case of the D700 there really wasn't anything comparable until the D800 and D600 were released. If there is no successor to the D800 (in particular) I think that camera will be pretty high up there. However, I bet Nikon is going to increase the rate at which they release FX bodies now, and the current crop will be replaced in only a couple years.
