I like the second shot in particular ... seems to tell a long life time story about the old woman at the sewing machine. The b/w conversion fits perfectly ...

That is my thought quite often when I take street photos. Many faces seem to express a lifetime of hardship or wonderful experiences; and sometimes both. Of course one never really know. I love photography's ability to freeze a moment in time forever. The endless variety of the human experience makes people photography so interesting.
