Having used the D700, D300s, D3s, D3, D800, The left AF issue is the only thing that makes me weary, aside from that the D800 is at par if not better than the rest.

New D4 body arrived and gave it a good workout. Wow what a difference! Sharp at f2.8 (I only use fast zooms of the holy trinity variety) and up, and the colors are superb. Although I am disappointed at the waste of time with the exchange, I have to say that it was a very smooth process. and the new body ROCKS.
