I love to watch Snow Geese while they are coming in for a landing with outstretched necks, landing gear is in the ready position and back peddling their wings with individual feathers flailing in the air.

I could not agree with you more Thomas, I too love to photograph them coming in. Excellent job on the exposure, my crit would be the face isn't in sharp focus

Thanks Tim and I noticed my shutter speed fell a bit low ... 1/800 sec.

but like Tim comments - I would prefer to see the face in focus

f/16 is plenty of DOF, so I suppose it was the 1/800s that was the culprit here. Still the wing position wins it for me
