I took a weekend trip to upstate PA to photograph the bald eagles who spend their winters in PA and neighboring New York state. It was a fun trip, and I got some great shots. Here are several... Enjoy!
Nice eagle shots Chris. Did you really need 1/8000 shutter at iso 2000 ? You could have shot 1/1600 at iso 400 and still retained the f8 aperture setting, which would be much less noisy IMO.

You make a good point... The first shot was a grab shot made just when I got out of the car... I just grabbed the camera/lens and fired off a few frames. I didn't have a chance to reset my ISO back to 800 which is where I usually shoot...
