Looking at the Los Angeles Times website today I came across this page showing the work of Times photographers which were Pulitzer Prize winners or finalists.
Obviously all of the stories feature exceptional documentary work but this one by times staff photographer Barbara Davidson was particularly compelling in light of recent tragic events.

Thanks for posting this, Mark. I've been a daily subscriber to the LA Times since I moved down here in '95. They have an incredibly talented staff of photographers and stringers. It's amazing to see the variety of stories they'll shoot too. From celebrity portraits to car crashes, to international features, to food, and everything in between. Their work is often amazing and inspiring.

Agreed. The staff at the Times is world class and their work is definitely work a look for anyone who wants to improve their documentary photography.
