They are absolutely gorgeous!! I used to feel that way as well about posting pictures of my kids, but they are now mixed all in with my client images on my website, FB, etc...I've given up. lol
Nice photos and kids ... the second shot might benefit from a little hair light, not ? The first shot appears to be soft focus on the eyes / face. The scarf is in focus close to the neck. Frank
yes definitely too dark on the top, I was actually just using the natural light in my living room. no lights or flashes so it came out too dark up top. i kinda like it though! thanks for checking it out!
The first is too soft or maybe just too narrow a DOF. IF that were a keeper, crop just below the elbows. The crop as shown - half way down her bottoms, doesn't work.
#2 crops through the hands at the bottom. That should be avoided. Also in #2, the white of the shirt has lost detail. It looks like it was overexposed and then adjusted in PS. The details don't come back if they are not in the original file. So take care when shooting shots with white clothing. Avoid any overexposure.
Thank you! I could move the drop back a bit from the door, see if that will reduce the amount of light on her and try a reflector for above her aiming down. That might help with the darkness on her hair. I just have a medium circle one. But I think it could help. Hmmm thanks for the feedback. These were taken some time ago I have only needed an excuse to set it up again! Lol
