Not sure if this has been noted here but there is a rare opportunity to photograph a comet in late 2013. Comet will (or Might) be visible with the naked eye and burn ten times brighter than a full moon. I stumbled on this article during a search and thought it might be of interest to all the night shooters here.
I saw the same thing in a science show also. Fast forward 5 minutes and the detailed clip starts. Should be fun to see all the amazing telephoto photographs of it.
You should change the "Comet will" to the "Comet might" as it is under some debate how bright it will be. But there should be a show to be ready for anyway as most are expecting to be able to be seen with the naked eye even if not 10 times as bright as the moon.
