We had a sunny but cold day for our last wedding of 2012. The bride was awesome and braved it long enough for us to get a few shots outside. It was a church ceremony followed by a reception at one of our favorite venues. My wife joined me as 2nd shooter for the day, and since one of her shots made an appearance on Moment Junkie in November, I insisted on it
Anyway, C & C is always welcome and thanks for looking!
I'm surprised you haven't received more comments. I really liked the set. I got a wonderful feel for the event. You captured the event very well. Most of us who photograph weddings are here to learn and grow so here are a couple of contructive observations. The posed group shots are pretty standard in this set (nothing really wrong with that) but many of us (including me) are trying to make our group and couple shots more creative and/or more energetic. An example is #24 which tells us nothing about the couple's feelings for one another. The bride could be standing there talkiing to her girlfriends in the same pose. Also while I think you have many many wonderful shots in this set, there are really no WOW shots that would take the coverage to the next level. I hope these comments are taken in the spirit that they are given and help you in your journey. I really did enjoy the set!
Thanks so much for the comments! Creative group shots as well as finding ways to pose/show a good connection with the couple are areas we're trying to improve upon.
