Thanks AMaji. Yes, the family walking into the steam and being partly engulfed by it was one of the main reasons for taking the shot.
I don't know if the brothers were picking on each other, although young boys within a year or two of each other generally spend a lot of time establishing dominance. It's called "horsing around," but it's really a fairly peaceful way to determine pecking order (testosterone is like that ). The older boy is big enough to be secure in his role within the family.
