These are the last shots from our trip to Banff over the xmas holidays.
There were a lot of clouds, but not much colour, so thought I'd take some shots with the Lee Big Stopper. I miscalculated by a bit on the first 4 min shot, but got the exposure right in the second shot which was close to 6 minutes. the only issue, was that the colours lit up nicely during those 6 minutes and I wasn't able to get some shots of the light show.
The first shot is close to 6 minutes, the second is at 1/5sec. the colours got very intense during that six minute exposure and I wish I had a second tripod to get some more shots with my second body, because the colours in the six minute exposure ended up looking a lot less intense then the colours were during the exposure.
I like the first one a lot! The longer exposure gives a very pleasing pastel color spread and the reflection is so much more vibrant. Great image(s)!

I think I like the second one a bit more. It seems the 2nd is a tad cooler in color balance than the first, just looking at the snow above the pond. Maybe it's that the snow didn't have the time to pick up the evening color as the longer exposure did. I like the color balance of the first but the ss of the second if that makes sense.
