I'm not overwhelmed. Under the heading for parts for flash units, they only list 1 model flash (SB-800). And they only list 1 part for that model. The battery cover door that you take off when you use the 5 battery set up.
No D200 parts, and the only D600 part I could find was the LCD cover. Oh, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL NO EXCHANGES OR RETURNS. Man, that's not even an A for effort.

Just a few days ago they had the battery door cover for the D600. Must have sold out.
Any parts available at all is an improvement over the old situation.
This is one of the most puzzling things about Nikon...back home in Canada I can buy whatever I want. Here it's super difficult to get anything that's not on a list or at that store.
I need a replacement grip connector cover for my D800. Minimum order quantity 10. If they think I'm going to buy 9 more D800s they are out of their minds.
Funny that all this is coming up now. I saw the partition (which I signed back then) to tell Nikon that it was not cool to put a choke hold on parts. I had a 400mm 2.8 that the plastic collar nut on the lens hood has stripped. It should be a .50 part but they get 13.50 for it, OK I will deal with that. Now they want me to send the whole damn lens in not just the hood as that would be an accessory to replace this part. When I talked with the guy at the store I asked him point blank, "does this make sense to you"? He said no it does not. I then asked him "would you send this in"? He said no. Then how can you ask me to do this? He said he would push this up the line and see what he could do.
This part takes 5 mins to swap, I spent longer than that trying to get a child's toy unpackaged at Christmas.
OH, I have a friend on here that lives in Canada. He sent there parts a email asking about the part# I gave him and he had an email back in under 24hrs and asked how many do you want? At least I have a back door.
It's a start, but it's a sad attempt. Least it's something. This has been there a while though, it just had even less stuff than it does now.
Nikon is really shooting themselves in the foot here because it will just lead to grey market part importation, and of people buying things breaking them down and parting them out for a profit. heh
