p.1 #1 · 5D-III

I just got my 5D-III and thought I had it set-up correctly but I must be missing something.

I want to shoot in sRGB.

The LCD on back shows I am in sRGB

If I shoot, take card to system and import into Photoshop it tells me the image is embedded with Adobe RGB.

Went back to camera, set to Adobe, did test shot. Reset to sRGB, did test shot.

Back to Photoshop and they both show Adobe RGB.

I'm missing something here. Can't figure out how to make it save RAW as sRGB.

Is there more than one menu option on these for Color Space?

Check photoshop to make sure you dont have it overriding the photo's color space with its own.

If your shooting RAW it does not matter what color space you set in camera. To open a RAW In sRGB you need to set ACR to open your files to sRGB this can be done at the bottom of the ACR screen.

Once you have the RAW file in Photoshop - are you then processing and saving the files as JPG to be viewed on the web or printed at Costco/Wal-Mart??

Silly me... that was it. I am new to Adobe Camera RAW and didn't even notice that text below was clickable. I thought that was telling me what the image was and didn't realize it could be used to change.
