This was an exciting victory for the Jazz. Nowitzki was back and dangerous as ever. Play became very physical and, to their credit, the Jazz went beyond matching the Mavs' efforts at intimidation and actually beat them at their own game. Hard fouls and a lot of crying to the refs. Russ, Here's what strikes me about this set. If someone were to click on the photos -- and not be able to read a single word of your introduction -- they would be able to tell that this was a nasty, hard-fought NBA game. Incredible facial expressions in numbers 4 & 9. You can almost hear Dirk whining to the official in number 6. Good stuff from Carlisle, too. The elbow to the chin in #3 and the forearm in the ribs in #7 demonstrate that it is a game for big boys. Great story-telling through the lens my friend.
Rick said it perfectly, Russ- a solid set here with great emotional captures. Although, I gotta say your commentary is equally accomplished. You seriously should take up writing, in any form besides a photo forum.
