Hello all,

I just got Photoshop Elements 11 for my PC, Thought it was time to upgrade from 7 which doesn't support RAW files on newer cameras anymore.

Anyway, got the program on the pc and updated it so it was up to date.

I tested the program with some RAW files on the pc and they open up fine.

The problem seems to be when I put the SD or CF card in the card reader and the Elements downloader box opens and you read the card and you click get photos, but it will only see the JPEGS and does not see the RAW.

If i put a card in with just RAWs on it, it says there is no files on it, but if I open the card on windows explorer it shows the files and I can even open them with the program.

I' tried looking on goggle to see if anyone else had the same problem, but could not fine any.

Elements 7 downloaded both files fine.

So if anyone can help or has heard about this problem let me know.

You're sure that the subversion of Elements supports the raw format in question?

go look for an option to make jpegs separate from RAW (like they have in Lightroom)
The help section in the program was no help, I'm guessing?

Yes, it has Camrea Raw 7.3. I've opened Raw files that are on my PC and it works great.

I just can't get the dowmloader to see the Raw files on the SD/CF card.

I'll try, but never heard of that option.

The help button didn't help with this problem.

I imported the raw files with organizer and it now works.
